Angeline Hartmann
Communications Director, National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

With over two decades as a broadcast journalist, Angeline Hartmann is a passionate advocate for crime victims. As Director of Communications at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), she works directly with law enforcement and families to keep cases in the public eye. She also serves as a spokesperson for the organization and regularly appears on the hit television series On Patrol: Live on the REELZ Network, bringing attention to missing children’s cases nationwide.
Before joining NCMEC, Angeline was a Correspondent and Producer for the legendary TV show, America’s Most Wanted with John Walsh, working closely with law enforcement, profiling fugitives and unsolved crimes. She appears regularly as a trusted crime analyst on a variety of TV shows and played a key role in developing the true popular crime series ATL Homicide on TV One.
In 2018, Angeline launched her podcast, Inside Crime with Angeline Hartmann, sharing powerful, behind-the-scenes stories from those impacted by crime. The podcast achieved a milestone when it helped solve a 1999 unidentified child case in DeKalb County, Georgia. Angeline was uniquely tied to the case as the original reporter on the scene and continued to cover the story for years. On the 20th anniversary, she revisited it on her podcast and a listener called in a tip, leading to the identification of William DaShawn Hamilton.
Her work has earned multiple Emmy Awards and recognition from law enforcement for her contributions to investigations. Angeline is also a longtime member of the Asian American Journalists Association, where she mentors aspiring reporters and advocates for diversity in media.
